Take A Tour Of Ashland Art Galleries While Tasting Great Area Wines And The Food Offerings Of Southern Oregon's Best Restaurants
For nearly thirty years, the Ashland Gallery Association’s signature fund-raising event is A Taste of Ashland. Showcasing the best of the region's art, food and wine, this annual walking tour of Ashland galleries brings together many of the best local restaurants, regional wineries and area breweries to create Ashland’s most delicious art experience.
Every April foodies and wine connoisseurs from the world over follow a map on a leisurely stroll through Ashland's historic Railroad District to nearly twenty art galleries, enjoying many of Ashland’s best restaurants and some of the region’s best wines along the way.
Even though the galleries are all with a short stroll of each other, for anyone who may prefer to ride from gallery to gallery instead of walking, AllAboard Trolley offers a free shuttle to each and every gallery.
With an abundance of handsome and stylish architecture nestled in the foothills Siskiyou Mountains, the city of Ashland is a true jewel of the Pacific Northwest. When paired with good people, award-winning works of art, great food, live music and fine wines and brews, A Taste of Ashland is a huge hit year after year.
Tickets can be purchased for either the Saturday or Sunday event, but because there is so much to see and do, the Ashland Gallery Association recommends purchasing a weekend ticket, allowing for a more leisurely pace and the chance to fully experience all that Ashland's art and restaurant neighborhoods have to offer.
The Ashland Gallery Association’s goal is to promote Ashland as an art destination through group activities including professional and student art exhibits, First Friday gallery walks, educational opportunities to promote the sale of art in the belief that art is essential to the welfare and character of our community.
