The 34th annual Fall Festival runs Wednesday, October 14, through Sunday, October 18, at Southern Oregon University’s Main Stage Theatre. Each winning play receives two staged readings with professional actors and directors. Audience talkbacks follow the readings and are part of the festival’s play-development process.

Workshop, closing reception and tickets
A playwriting workshop led by host playwrights Beth Kander and E.M. Lewis is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from 9 a.m.–noon at the Hay-Patton Rehearsal Center, Room 1A. Advance registration is required. A public closing reception follows Sunday’s final reading and talkback.
The Ashland Chamber lists reading tickets at $15–$25. Book through the organizer because availability can change. The festival venue is the SOU Main Stage Theatre, 450 S. Mountain Avenue in Ashland.
