Practical details for your visit
Separate Cave Junction, Kerby and the caves
The market carries the Cave Junction name but operates at 24100 Highway 199 in Kerby. Oregon Caves is reached by a separate drive from town. Choose one main destination, then add a nearby stop; a town address on a park mailing label does not mean the cave entrance is downtown.
Check Cave Junction Farmers Market ↗Book the cave experience before the drive
NPS lists Discovery, Candlelight, Kids and Family, and Off-Trail tours. They have different physical demands and participation rules. Read the specific tour's requirements and booking information; a family trip should be planned around the selected tour, not an assumption that every child can join every tour.
Check National Park Service ↗A simpler outdoor visit
Illinois River Forks offers picnic tables, a vault toilet, a short walking trail and a nine-hole disc golf course. The state park permits leashed pets. Check its alerts for fire restrictions and access; a riverside picnic does not establish safe swimming conditions.

Picnic at Illinois River Forks
Choose this day-use park for a short walking and picnic outing rather than a full cave tour. Bring your picnic and check park notices before driving.
Check Oregon State Parks for details ↗Reserve an Oregon Caves tour
Pick the tour that fits your group, confirm tickets, then use NPS directions and accessibility information to plan the drive and arrival. Surface trails are a separate option when a cave tour does not suit your group.

Check Cave Junction Farmers Market for details ↗Choose a Southern Oregon Guild art program
The Guild publishes workshops and exhibitions with their own venues. Read the selected program for location, age, registration and cost; Kerby and Cave Junction appearances are different stops.
Check Southern Oregon Guild for details ↗Check an Illinois Valley library program
Filter the library calendar for the Illinois Valley branch before choosing a story time, class or community activity. A countywide program may take place in another town.
Check Josephine Community Library for details ↗Avoid scheduling the caves, a workshop and a market as back-to-back appointments. Start with the hardest reservation and leave room for the separate drives.
