Practical details for your visit

Updated October 4, 2026. Hours, prices and access can change; use the linked operators to confirm.

Use the pedestrian covered bridge

Covered Bridge Park is along Main Street between Royal and Shasta avenues. The city identifies the covered bridge as the pedestrian and bicycle crossing of Little Butte Creek because the Main Street road bridge is closed to pedestrians. Follow the designated crossing rather than assuming both bridges accept walkers.

Confirm the mill visit separately

Butte Creek Mill gives its visitor location as 402 N. Royal Avenue. Use the operator's current visitor information before planning shopping or a tour; a historic landmark can be viewed differently from a scheduled indoor experience.

A local stop or a regional trip

A bridge walk and mill visit are Eagle Point activities. A drive onward toward Upper Rogue recreation should be planned from the relevant land manager's map and notices. Do not assume a regional attraction is within walking distance of this town.

Idea 1

Walk through Covered Bridge Park

Use the designated creek crossing and pause at the seating and historical information. The bridge was built in 1922 and moved here in 1987; this is a short town outing rather than a long hiking loop.

Idea 2

Visit Butte Creek Mill

Start with the operator's address and current visit information. Check the shop or tour arrangements before combining it with a bridge walk; buying flour or another product is a separate expense.

Idea 3

Choose a city park from its facility descriptions

Compare Lucas Park for its natural playground, restrooms and walking path with Mattie Brown Park for covered picnic areas and a playground serving several age groups. Use the city’s specific park descriptions for the location and current facilities.

Idea 4

Choose an Eagle Point library activity

Select the Eagle Point branch in the library's program calendar. Read the individual activity for registration, age range and the actual meeting place.

Plan it simply

For a compact first visit, start with the bridge and the mill's visitor information. Save a longer Upper Rogue drive for a plan with its own route and conditions checks.
