Practical details for your visit
Workshops and open studio are different visits
Talent Maker City is at 109 Talent Avenue and publishes adult and youth workshops, open studio and certified maker training. Select the relevant session and check its requirements, price and registration before arriving; a makerspace is not a promise of unrestricted drop-in tool access.
Check Talent Maker City ↗Choose completed facilities, not proposed improvements
The city's park descriptions identify Talent Commons' younger-child play structure and restrooms, Old Town's skating facilities, and Lyn Newbry's picnic shelter by the Greenway. Chuck Roberts' master-plan improvements are described as planned; confirm what is open before promising a new playground or renovated splash pad.
Check City of Talent ↗Separate a park stop from a Greenway ride
Choose a turnaround and check the county's notices before a Greenway trip. A park picnic needs less route planning than riding to another town; current closures can affect a through trip.

Check the places behind each plan
Book a Talent Maker City workshop
Choose an adult or youth creative session from the makerspace calendar. Read the session's age, materials and participation details before reserving.
Check Talent Maker City for details ↗Visit Talent Commons
The city describes a younger-child play structure, restrooms and sidewalks linking the civic area. This is a useful starting point for a family park visit near the library.
Check City of Talent for details ↗Use Old Town Skate Park
This facility serves skateboarding, inline skating and BMX. Choose it for skating rather than assuming the play needs of a small child match those of an older rider.
Check City of Talent for details ↗Pause at Lyn Newbry Park
The city-managed park has a picnic shelter by the Bear Creek Greenway. Use the dedicated Greenway guide for the longer trail corridor and its notices.

Check City of Talent for details ↗Choose a Talent library program
Use the branch and program filters to choose a local activity. Check registration and the individual age range before combining it with a civic-area park stop.
Check Jackson County Library Services for details ↗Pick the activity before the itinerary: a reserved creative session, a younger-child park visit and a through Greenway ride each need a different plan.
